I love all crafts, including, but not limited to: drawing, painting, crocheting, paper crafting, scrapbooking, & sewing.
I am self-taught at everything I do. I'll be the first to tell you that nothing I make is absolutely perfect. I think perfect is.... boring.
I enjoy: Reading. Writing. Crocheting. Scrapbooking. Cardmaking. Blogging. Cadbury Creme Eggs. Web Design. CSS. Being a Mother. Being a Friend. Talking on the Phone. Reading Blogs.
I am: Mother. Sister. Friend. Cousin. Daughter. Wife. Niece. Aunt. Girl Scout Leader.
Music I Love: The Beatles. John Lennon. Eminem. Daughtry. Billy Ray Cyrus. Jon Bon Jovi. Apocalyptica. Three Days Grace. Lady Gaga. Okay… I like everything. Oldies included.
Politics: I’m not much of a political person. I once posted on my personal blog about my beliefs, after posting that, I learned from the comments that I am a Democrat, whatever that means.
I had my first child, Gillian, at the age of 19 in 2000. She has taught me that even when you think you can’t possibly take anymore or live another day, there is always hope. I call her my wildflower. She likes to read, write and draw. She’s a Girl Scout. She’s very emotional and wears her heart on her sleeve. She is more than I ever could have hoped for. She’s an ‘A’ student. Some would say she’s the teacher’s pet. She’s in the science club.
My son, Matthew, was born in 2003. I was so sure I was having another girl because I wanted a boy so badly. But here he is! He has bright blue/white eyes and blonde hair, that makes for one cute kid that nobody can say no to. He is very loveable. He likes to play video games and use the computer. He’s a huge GI Joe fan. My husband is his hero. He is a Cub Scout.
In 2008 I gave birth {on my due date} to my last child, Hannah. If I had had her first, she’d be an only child. She is crazy stubborn, emotional and sometimes a tyrant, but I wouldn’t have her any other way. She loves Yo Gabba Gabba and Dora the Explorer. She loves to sing and dance. Her current favorite song is Black Eyed Peas ‘I Gotta Feelin’.
I’ve been married to my most amazing husband Bryan since September 28, 2008. We’ve been together since January 1, 2006. He is my second husband and the father of my youngest child. He is the best thing that has happened to me in a long time.
Bryan joined the U.S. Army in October 2008. It’s a different life and one we’re still getting used to. Bryan hasn’t deployed yet. We’re lucky like that. For now anyway.
