Recycled. Box turned sewing kit.

I started with a cardboard box that our Vonage adapter came in. It's a nice sturdy box with a lid:
After sanding the shiny box so it would stick, I Modge Podged some K&Company paper to the top and sides. I used the Girl Scout paper pack. I used some CTMH stamps for the buttons and lettering, added some ribbon. I used a brad and twill ribbon to make it easier to open.

I wanted the inside to be sectioned off so I cut some coasters and used CTMH Liquid Glass to attach them inside. I did have to cut the side flaps off the box to make it work with my sections.

And in there you can see the pin cushion I quickly whipped out for Gillian. It took all of five minutes!

Wall Art.

I started with the two wooden plaques I had bought a few years ago for 25 cents each at a thrift shop.

I added some paper with modge podge. Added some Basic Grey punch out letters and Basic Grey sticker letters. Stamped some CTMH flowers {which I find is my go-to set for things like this}.

Then I Modge Podged it all on, then Modge Podge over it so I can dust it when the time comes... haha.

For the hanger I just took some crochet cotton the width of the board with loops at either end and thumb-tacked it in place.

Sorry for the blurry photos. The photos looked horrible with the flash on, so I took them without the flash and couldn't seem to hold my hand still.

Two quotes from two of my favorite songs. Perfect for me and my home.
